Bias.

As part of a written piece to build upon critical writing skills, the essay you can read today describes a growing issue thats faces the digital age, bias. All around the world minority groups divided by gender, race, disability, and wealth are being discriminated against online due to code that was never designed to account for them in the first place.

Researching material for the essay has allowed me to gain a greater understanding when designing for a target audience. Although there is always a focused end user for a brief, other such individuals who may come in contact with the object, wether it be a website or a piece of art, always have to be accounted for.

I hope one day that the world we are building online can be shared by everyone, not just the majority.
